Once Upon A Child was founded by Dennis and Lynn Blum in 1985.At the time the Blum’s had three growing boys and were looking for a way to recycle the items they no longer used and buy items at affordable prices for their rapidly growing family.Their idea was quite simple – provide a fun, efficient process for families to buy and sell their kids' stuff. They opened their first Once Upon A Child store in Perrysburg, Ohio.
