Alpine Industries Overview
Alpine Industries no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company. Last update Monday, June 22, 2026
Alpine Industries (famous for its "Living Air" and "Living Water" machines) was a multi-level marketing (MLM) company that sold ozone-generating air and water purifiers. The company essentially collapsed following major federal regulatory intervention and asset buyouts.
Multimillion-Dollar Judgment: In 2001, a federal court ruled against Alpine and its president, ordering a joint penalty and consumer refund of $1.49 million. The company was permanently enjoined from making these unproven health claims.
Facing heavy regulatory pressure, co-founder Bill Converse sold his interest to his partner, Michael Jackson, in 2000. Jackson then pivoted and rebranded the MLM assets under the name EcoQuest International.
EcoQuest continued operating for nearly a decade until it was largely absorbed and its assets were sold to Aerus Holdings, LLC in 2009.
