Original Npros business profile for Bioceutica, preserved below for archival purposes:
Bioceutica's business originated with Ideal Health, a personalized-nutrition network-marketing company founded in Massachusetts in 1997 by Lou DeCaprio and brothers Todd and Scott Stanwood. Ideal Health was renamed The Trump Network in 2009 under a licensing agreement that allowed the company to use Donald Trump's name and promotional appearances. That agreement expired at the end of 2011. Entrepreneur Antoine Nohra acquired the remaining business and assets in early 2012 for an undisclosed amount and relaunched the operation as Bioceutica. Jesse Young initially served as interim chief executive before Candace Keefe was appointed CEO in August 2012.
Bioceutica retained personalized nutrition as a central part of its business. Its Custom Essentials and MyVitaminsRx programs used the PrivaTest, an at-home urine test that the company said could be used to customize a monthly vitamin regimen. The catalog also included Silhouette Solutions weight-management products, MetaReset meal replacements, FlexCaps, Energen, SuperOptiGreens, detoxification supplements and Intuitiv by Nature skin-care and cosmetic products. By 2013, the company reported that customer enrollment had increased 180% and Independent Consultant enrollment had risen 171% compared with the previous year, although those figures were company-reported and not independently audited.
Independent Consultants earned retail commissions ranging from 15% to 35%, with the percentage increasing as monthly customer volume grew. The multilevel plan paid 7% on the first three unilevel levels and 4% on the fourth level, followed by generational bonuses of 4% or 5% through as many as four generations for higher-ranked Consultants. Enrollment was listed at $89, with optional product packages priced at $299, $339 and $499. Beginning January 1, 2016, Consultants were required to personally purchase at least 100 points of product each month to receive monthly commissions. The plan also offered a $200 Area Manager advancement award and a Lexus Hybrid automobile bonus for qualifying Directors.
Bioceutica ceased operations in September 2018.
Enrollment Options
Theminimum requirement for a member to become an Independent Consultant is to purchase the "Basic IC Kit". This provides the consultant with their own personal replicated Bioceutica page, and access to the Back Office, where they are able access tools to manage and grow their personal business. Bioceutica offers three other starter kits, the most expensive of which costing $550, and providing the IC with plenty of product to begin selling immediately.
Compensation Plan
Bioceutica sales representatives can earn up to 35% retail commissions on every product they sell, as well as earning credit every time their customer makes a repeat purchase. Partners can also earn additional monies on downline sales when members of their business make sales. Bioceutica also offers monthly bonuses as each partner's business grows, and they are promoted within Bioceutica.
