marketing company founded by Barani Karunakaran and his father, Karunakaran Dsamy. The company was incorporated in Malaysia on May 3, 2012. Destina 1 developed from a home-based operation into an international direct-selling organization centered in Puchong, Selangor.
Destina 1 markets nutritional products, beverages, jewelry and accessories promoted as incorporating its Uniwave by Quantes Technology. Products have included the Uniwave Pendant, Uniwave Alkaline Flask, Alkaline Stick, Biomatrix Shield, Scalarvia, five-in-one instant coffee, Nutricellz nutritional supplements, Bio4Care botanical beverages and Kritalia & Co. jewelry.
Products are sold through independent representatives rather than conventional retail stores. Representatives can earn retail profit from customer sales and build organizations of additional distributors. Destina 1 states that representatives are not required to maintain inventory, although the company charges an annual subscription fee for access to its business resources. Its business application allows representatives to monitor customers, referrals, personal activity, commissions and team volume.
Destina 1 has historically used a binary-style MLM compensation plan with product packages, sponsor bonuses and pairing commissions. Its earlier DÃÆ'Æ'Ã'Ã'¢ÃÆ'Ã'¢'Ã'Ã'¬ÃÆ'Ã'¢"Ã'Ã'¢Infinite plan included retail profit, a direct sponsor bonus, binary pairing bonuses, team-builder development bonuses, activation bonuses, monthly sponsor and pairing bonuses, leadership bonuses and executive pools tied to global company turnover. The published plan included a 1% global-turnover pool for qualifying vice presidents and a 2% pool for qualifying presidents.
