Elnapress Inc. no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.

Elnapress still exists as a product brand, but the former Minnesota-based Elnapress Inc. direct-sales operation is no longer the company behind the website. The current business sells through authorized distributors and sewing-machine dealers rather than an MLM compensation structure.

Elnapress was a household-appliance company associated with Elna, the Swiss sewing-machine manufacturer originally established as Tavaro S.A. The Elnapress household ironing system was introduced in the early 1970s as one of the first pressing machines designed specifically for home use. The machine combined a large heated pressing surface with automatic pressure, allowing clothing, linens, sewing projects, and other fabrics to be pressed more quickly than with a conventional iron. Later models added features such as the Vapojet water-vapor system, a nonstick heating plate, and a built-in sleeve board.

In the United States, Elnapress Inc. operated from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and marketed the presses as high-end household appliances. The company was included in home-business and direct-sales directories, but available records do not document a conventional multilevel compensation plan involving recruitment-based downline commissions. Its sales method was more accurately described as product-focused direct selling through representatives, demonstrations, distributors, and appliance dealers. The former U.S. company was listed at 6553 City West Parkway in Eden Prairie.

The original Minnesota operation is no longer the current operator of Elnapress.com. The website now represents an international Elnapress product brand managed by S.P.A. Italia S.r.l. in Padua, Italy. The company continues to offer several ironing-press models and directs customers to local resellers and national distributors.
