Elur Worldwide was a health-and-wellness network-marketing company established in Tampa, Florida, in 2010 by MLM executive Dan Maltais. The company operated from 550 North Reo Street and assembled a management team that included CEO Curtis Call, President and Chief Marketing Officer Clint McKinlay, Vice President of International Sales Elias Coca, and Communications Director Mark Peterson. Elur began recruiting founding distributors ahead of a planned soft launch on July 15, 2010, followed by a broader internet launch.

Elur planned to introduce four principal nutritional supplements: Cardio, Mind, Multi-V, and Immune. Promotional materials described Cardio as a cardiovascular and metabolic-support formula, Mind as an energy and mental-focus supplement, Multi-V as a broad multivitamin and nutraceutical product, and Immune as an immune-support formula. The company also announced a future maqui-berry line consisting of a 750-milliliter liquid supplement, a 60-capsule antioxidant formula, and a two-ounce energy shot. These products were promoted during prelaunch, but Elur closed before establishing a sustained commercial product line.

The company promoted what it called a 5-by-7 "Linear Matrix" compensation plan. Distributors were to earn commissions from recurring product orders placed below them and, under the company's description, from some company volume generated beside them through sideline organizations. The proposed plan included first-order bonuses paid through three levels, matching bonuses of as much as 20%, business-builder bonuses, automobile incentives, travel awards, and rank-based payments. Qualification depended on personal enrollment, distributor advancement, customer service, and recurring monthly product purchases. Promotional examples were based on participants placing minimum $100 monthly orders.

Elur did not meet its July 2010 launch date. On August 18, 2010, Maltais informed distributors that the launch had been postponed indefinitely because the company's resources were diminishing. He accepted responsibility for the failure and acknowledged that some distributors still had unresolved refund requests or unpaid commissions. Elur established separate email addresses for refund claims and other questions, but the company never resumed its launch.

Elur's pre-launch product line includes four core nutritional formulas, though it is difficult to determine if the products are in pill or juice format. The company is touting several study results for the effectiveness of each product already and advertises them as being designed to replace caffeine and the chemical substances most people ingest daily in the forms of coffee, energy drinks and super juices, with natural, effective alternatives. The marketing materials claim that Elur MIND supports the body's natural stress suppressors, energy levels and to inhibit fatigue. According to the company's blog, Elur MIND also promotes alertness, concentration and mental clarity.Elur states that studies on Elur CARDIO indicate that the product lowers bad cholesterol levels by over 30%, triglycerides by over 20%, blood sugar by over 20% and helped to raise HDL cholesterol levels by more than 30%.Elur IMMUNE is promoted as being designed to boost, and protect the body's immune system and was also claimed to have been used in clinical tests. Elur MULTI V is a multivitamin soon to be produced by the company and is described as a doctor formulated combination of natural bioavailable vitamins, minerals, plant sterols, amino acids, probiotics and other nutraceuticals that allegedly exceed the quality of other multi vitamins on the market. The vitamins are touted as including multiple servings of fruits and vegetables, probiotics, plant derived sterols, polyphenols, and catachens.

UPDATE 9/1/2010: According to an email from Dan Maltais, Elur will not be meeting their expected launch date. Company may be folding.
