Enlyten no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.
Original Npros business profile for Enlyten, preserved below for archival purposes:
Enlyten was launched in the late 2000s as a nutritional-products company built around thin oral strips that dissolved inside the cheek. The original product line included electrolyte, energy, sleep, antioxidant and recovery strips designed to deliver vitamins, minerals and other ingredients without pills or drinks. Enlyten products gained early retail exposure through sporting-goods outlets, including a 2007 agreement placing Enlyten SportStrips in Dick's Sporting Goods stores. The company also promoted its products through professional athletes and sports personalities.
Enlyten also operated as a multilevel marketing company during its earlier years. Independent distributors could sell the strips at retail and earn commissions and residual income through distributor organizations. Promotional materials from 2009 described Enlyten as a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based network-marketing company with a compensation plan designed around product sales, distributor recruitment and team volume. Lynn Mitchell was identified as the company's founder. The original MLM program is no longer promoted on the company's current website.
The business later operated as Enlyten International, LLC and replaced the traditional MLM opportunity with a protected-territory distributorship model. The company offered distributors exclusive territories containing approximately 250,000 to 5 million potential customers, with distributors responsible for developing retail, professional and institutional accounts within their assigned areas. The current website continues to advertise distributorships covering territories of up to 5 million people and sells sleep, recovery, electrolytes+, antioxidant and focus strips directly to consumers.
