Epic launched around October/November 2013 as a Utah-based health-and-wellness direct-sales company headed by Glen Jensen. Its product pitch included Epic Bru, Epic Oils, Epic Essentials, enzymes, essential oils, a cacao beverage, and other wellness products. Epic also promoted a strategic alliance with eCosway, saying it would use eCosway’s U.S./Mexico retail and distribution infrastructure.

In a Texas case involving Evolv Health, Epic Era Incorporated ended up with a judgment against it on tortious-interference claims. In 2019, the Texas Fifth Court of Appeals modified the award to $1.2 million plus prejudgment interest against Epic Era Incorporated.

Epic is a direct sales company launching in October 2013 and based in Utah. Epic will utilize social media to develop a community for its distributors, their downlines and customers to stay connected.

Epic has partnered with eCosway, a 34-year-old direct sales company doing business in 17 countries, and will leverage eCosway’s infrastructure to have a global presence. Epic’s products include Epic Bru, a drink product made from roasted cocoa beans and containing antioxidants and minerals; Epic Oils, a line of aromatherapy essential oils; and Epic Essentials, a collection of health and nutrition products.

Enrollment Options

New Epic Associates must purchase an Introductory Kit, which includes a personal web page with the Epic retail store, plus a free 4-week trial of a premium Epic Center with information, reporting, and marketing materials. New Associates can begin earning retail commissions immediately but must reach the level of Marketing Partner by generating 100 EV (Epic Volume) through personal or customer purchases, in order to participate fully in the compensation plan.

Compensation Plan

Epic has a binary compensation plan. Epic Marketing Partners must meet minimum volume requirements each 28-day cycle in order to remain eligible for commissions.
