Original Npros business profile for eWorldMedia.com, preserved below for archival purposes:
eWorldMedia was an internet-advertising network-marketing company incorporated in Nevada on December 7, 2001, initially under the name eWorldMedia.TV, Inc. The company was led by network-marketing executive Ronald C. Touchard and operated from Newport Beach, California. In December 2002, eWorldMedia became a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly traded eWorldMedia Holdings, Inc. through a stock-for-stock exchange.
The company's principal service allowed businesses and individual marketers to create television-style email advertisements containing moving images and sound. Customers could edit prebuilt templates, send campaigns to their own contact lists or purchase delivery to targeted opt-in email databases. The platform also offered demographic and geographic targeting, campaign tracking, click-through reporting and printable digital coupons.
eWorldMedia distributed the advertising service through independent representatives using a network-marketing compensation plan. Representatives sold subscription and advertising packages to local businesses, professionals and home-based entrepreneurs and received commissions funded from a percentage of product revenue. The company reported approximately 2,140 paid distributors and $738,000 in gross revenue during the first nine months of 2002, but it also recorded a net loss of approximately $1.1 million during the same period.
The publicly traded parent changed its name from eWorldMedia Holdings to Liberty Diversified Holdings in January 2006 as it shifted toward acquiring and developing other businesses. On March 25, 2006, it sold eWorldMedia, Inc. outright to former executive Henning D. Morales. No continuing distributor organization or functioning advertising platform remains under the eWorldMedia name.
