International Marketing Corporation Private Limited, commonly known as IMC Business, is an Indian health-and-wellness direct-selling company founded by Dr. Ashok Bhatia and Satyan Bhatia. The company commenced operations on April 7, 2007, and is headquartered in Ludhiana, Punjab. IMC was built around the promotion of Indian-made Ayurvedic, herbal, wellness, household, and agricultural products through a nationwide network of independent Business Associates. Company materials describe IMC as one of India's early domestically owned direct-selling companies centered on Ayurveda.
IMC markets approximately 300 products across Ayurvedic and herbal medicines, nutrition and health care, beauty care, personal care, home care, food and grocery items, agriculture, and animal-husbandry categories. Its affiliated manufacturer, International Herbal Corporation Private Limited, operates in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, producing herbal and Ayurvedic products for IMC. The company also operates a Haridwar warehouse that IMC states has approximately 280,000 square feet of storage capacity.
The company uses a multilevel direct-selling structure in which Business Associates may earn retail margins and compensation based on personal and group product volume. Registration is advertised as free, with no mandatory joining purchase. Under the company's August 2024 plan, an associate must generate â'¹1,100 in sales by the end of the month following enrollment and repeat that sales level during at least one month in each subsequent 12-month period to remain active. Associates must also meet company sales criteria before becoming eligible to sponsor additional Business Associates.
IMC's compensation plan advertises retail profit of up to 40%, accumulative performance income of up to 30%, additional performance income of up to 17%, leadership bonuses of up to 15%, senior leadership bonuses of up to 10%, and several rank-based funds and annual bonus pools. Advancement begins with Star Associate and progresses through Executive Star, Senior Star, Super Star, Silver Star, Gold Star, Ruby Star, Diamond Star, Chairman Star, Ambassador Star, President Star, and higher Crown President levels. Qualification is based on personal group business volume, the number of qualifying sales legs, and continuing monthly activity.
The plan also includes travel, motorcycle, automobile, housing, leadership, and senior-rank funds funded by percentages of monthly company business volume. IMC's Royal Annual Bonus pool is stated as 4.5% of monthly BV sales.
