InnerLight no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.

InnerLight / InnerLight Worldwide is no longer active as an identifiable standalone MLM/direct-selling company. The historical InnerLight business operated as a nutritional-products network-marketing company, but InnerLight Worldwide, Inc. filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy on May 4, 2015 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Case No. 1:15-bk-10980. The old InnerLightInc.com domain still resolves, but it does not present a current product catalog, distributor enrollment system, or operating MLM website in the sources reviewed.

Original Npros business profile for InnerLight, preserved below for archival purposes:

InnerLight was a nutritional-products network-marketing company best known for its alkaline-health product positioning and its flagship SuperGreens line. The company's roots trace to InnerLight International, Inc., which was established in 1998. In January 2001, The Quigley Corporation purchased InnerLight International's assets to create an alternative distribution channel for health and wellness products. The business was initially named Darius Marketing, Inc., and management changed the name to InnerLight Inc. in March 2002.

InnerLight sold nutritional supplements and related wellness products through independent representatives, distributors, and business consultants. Its best-known products included SuperGreens and Prime pH, promoted around "alkalize and energize" messaging. Earlier company materials also referenced product expansion into water purification, natural skin care, food snacks, and a proposed travel division.

InnerLight operated as a multi-level/network-marketing company. Its 2008 SEC registration materials described sales through independent business consultants or distributors, the use of downline sponsorship, distributor business kits, wholesale purchasing for resale or personal use, retail markups with a recommended 33% markup, and commissions and bonuses tied to product sales. The company also stated that sponsoring new distributors created multiple levels in the network-marketing structure and that distributors could build a network of product users and sponsored distributors.

InnerLight is no longer active as a standalone MLM company. InnerLight Holdings acquired InnerLight Inc. from The Quigley Corporation in February 2008 for $1 million plus the assumption of liabilities, but the business later declined. InnerLight Worldwide, Inc. filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy on May 4, 2015 in Delaware Bankruptcy Court, Case No. 1:15-bk-10980. The old InnerLightInc.com domain does not currently present an active MLM opportunity, product catalog, compensation plan, or distributor enrollment system.

InnerLight's regulatory/legal history includes a California Proposition 65 matter filed by Environmental Research Center, Inc. A November 30, 2012 60-day notice alleged that InnerLight Holdings, Inc. and InnerLight Worldwide, Inc. sold dietary supplements containing lead without required California warnings. Products named in the notice included Men's Formula, Women's Formula, Paracide, SuperGreens, Fibrada Plus, Adrenal Plus, Spectrazyme, Lymphatica A-Plus, Orthoplex II, Sagrada Plus, Lung Plus, and Earth Essence Montmorillonite Clay Powder. Civil and supplemental complaints were later filed in Alameda County Superior Court under Environmental Research Center v. Innerlight Holdings, Inc., Case No. RG13705001, seeking warnings and civil penalties; the California Attorney General record lists no settlement and no judgment for that notice. InnerLight's legal history also includes contract and successor-liability litigation involving The Matrix Group, LLC, in which Matrix alleged that InnerLight Inc. transferred assets to InnerLight Holdings and InnerLight Worldwide in 2008 to avoid an adverse judgment.
