InteleTravel Overview
InteleTravel was founded in the early 1990s by James Ferrara and is headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida. The company provides independent travel advisors with supplier relationships, booking systems, training, marketing tools and administrative support for selling cruises, hotels, vacation packages, tours, rental cars, travel insurance and other travel services. InteleTravel ranked No. 22 on Travel Weekly's 2025 Power List of the largest travel sellers, with all of its sales generated through hosted advisors.
Advisors pay an enrollment fee and recurring monthly charge for access to the platform. Enrollment fees are a $179.99 initial fee and approximately $39.95 per month. Advisors earn a share of the commission paid by travel suppliers, generally beginning at 70% and potentially increasing to 80% after meeting sales thresholds. InteleTravel itself compensates advisors for travel bookings; the multilevel recruiting component is operated through the separate but closely connected PlanNet Marketing organization. PlanNet representatives can earn commissions by recruiting others who enroll as InteleTravel advisors.
InteleTravel has projected approximately 170,000 advisors and $1.875 billion in global travel sales for 2026, up from roughly 140,000 advisors in 2025.
