Jewel Kade by Thirty-One Overview
Jewel Kade by Thirty-One no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.
JewelKade.com is no longer an active Jewel Kade direct-selling site. The domain now redirects toward Janet Kinkade’s personal/name site rather than a current Jewel Kade shopping or Stylist-opportunity platform. Jewel Kade itself was folded into Thirty-One Gifts in late 2014, and the Jewel Kade-style jewelry continued for a time as JK by Thirty-One. The standalone Jewel Kade MLM/direct-sales company is no longer active.
Original Npros business profile for Jewel Kade by Thirty-One, preserved below for archival purposes:
Jewel Kade was an Alpine, Utah-based artisan jewelry and décor direct-selling company founded by designer Janet Kinkade. The company was founded in 2008 and officially launched in 2009 as a party-plan business. It grew out of Kinkade's handmade jewelry work and developed into a direct-sales brand built around vintage-inspired jewelry, personalized charms, artisan design, and women-centered entrepreneurship.
Jewel Kade's product line centered on handcrafted jewelry and customizable accessories, including signature charms, photo charms, wax-seal charms, chains, necklaces, stamped Magnolia Metals charms, and other vintage-inspired jewelry pieces. The company later expanded into décor through Poetry Custom Canvases. Its online JK Studio allowed customers to design custom charms and canvases, which were then handcrafted by Jewel Kade production artists in Alpine, Utah. Jewel Kade also promoted charitable collections through JK Cares, including pieces supporting the American Heart Association and Huntsman Cancer Institute.
The company operated as a direct-selling and party-plan business through independent representatives known as Stylists. Customers could buy through JK Stylists, host parties, join Club JK, or become Stylists themselves. Older direct-sales materials described Jewel Kade as a regular direct-sales business with the ability to recruit a downline and earn additional income. By 2014, Jewel Kade was a Direct Selling Association member, had thousands of Stylists across the United States and Canada, and had nearly 100 employees at its Alpine home office.
Jewel Kade's standalone business ended when it joined Thirty-One Gifts in December 2014. The transition gave Jewel Kade Stylists the opportunity to become Thirty-One consultants, while Janet Kinkade continued designing jewelry for the new JK by Thirty-One Collection. Jewel Kade's custom charms, Poetry Custom Canvases, and stamped Magnolia Metals charms were available only through December 17, 2014, after which they were discontinued. JK by Thirty-One jewelry appeared in 2015, but Jewel Kade no longer operated as its own direct-selling company.
