JGO's regulatory history includes a South Carolina Securities Commissioner cease-and-desist order issued in 2011 against JGO Financial and Shawn Wheeland. The order directed JGO and Wheeland to permanently cease offering securities to the public and transacting business as an investment adviser or representative unless properly registered, required $5,000 in investigation-cost reimbursement, and imposed a $10,000 penalty on each respondent. A later South Carolina securities order involving BuyWithIntegrity stated that the 2011 JGO order became final by operation of law.
