Morinda Overview
Morinda no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.
Morinda is no longer operating as a standalone direct-selling company under Morinda.com. The domain now redirects to Partner.Co, where the Tahitian Noni product line continues as part of a broader direct-selling wellness platform. Partner.Co’s own launch materials say it brought together ARIIX, LIMU, Morinda, and Zennoa into one company, with Brand Partners operating in more than 50 countries.
Original Npros business profile for Morinda, preserved below for archival purposes:
Morinda was a Utah-based direct-selling wellness company best known for Tahitian NoniĀ® Juice and other products derived from the noni plant. The company traced its roots to 1996 and was also known historically as Tahitian Noni International and later Noni by NewAge. Morinda built its identity around noni-based beverages, nutritional products, personal-care items, and related wellness products, with a large international business concentrated heavily in Asia-Pacific markets.
Morinda operated through a direct-to-consumer and network-marketing sales model, using independent distributors or Brand Partners to sell products, refer customers, and build sales organizations. At the time of its 2018 merger with New Age Beverages Corporation, Morinda was described as operating in more than 60 countries and working with a large global independent salesforce. NewAge completed the Morinda acquisition on December 21, 2018, in an $85 million transaction.
Morinda is no longer active as a standalone direct-selling company under the Morinda name. The Morinda.com domain now redirects to Partner.Co, a direct-selling wellness company that launched in 2023 by combining ARIIX, LIMU, Morinda, and Zennoa into one platform. The Tahitian Noni product line remains available through Partner.Co, and the sales opportunity now operates under Partner.Co's Brand Partner model rather than as a separate Morinda opportunity.
Morinda's legal and regulatory history includes a 1998 multistate settlement with the attorneys general of Arizona, California, New Jersey, and Texas involving unsubstantiated health-related claims for Tahitian Noni products. Morinda agreed to pay $100,000 to the four states and stop making misleading disease-treatment or curative claims; the company did not admit wrongdoing. In 2022, BBB National Programs' Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council reviewed Morinda product and earnings claims, including social-media health claims and website references to "financial freedom," and Morinda removed or attempted to remove the challenged claims. Morinda's later corporate parent, NewAge, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on August 30, 2022, together with Ariix LLC, Morinda Holdings Inc., and Morinda Inc. dba Noni by NewAge.
