Nikken was founded in Japan in 1975 by Isamu Masuda and built its business around wellness technology, beginning with magnetic shoe inserts and later expanding into a broader "active wellness" product line. The company became especially known for magnetic wellness products, sleep systems, air and water products, nutrition, skincare, and home-wellness technologies.

Nikken remains active as a direct-selling/network-marketing company.
