Qivana no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.
Original Npros business profile for Qivana, preserved below for archival purposes:
Qivana was a Utah-based nutritional-products multilevel marketing company launched in 2009 by five direct-selling industry executives: Derek Hall, Rodney James, Devin Glazier, Justin Banner and Craig Johanson. The company operated from Provo and referred to its independent distributors as Independent Business Owners, or IBOs. Its founders had previously held management positions with companies including Univera, XanGo, Nu Skin, Tahitian Noni International and Nature's Way.
Qivana organized its nutritional products into what it called "Synergistic Health Systems," combining several supplements into coordinated regimens. Its principal brands included Qore, a daily nutritional and digestive-health system; Metaboliq, a weight-management range that included shakes and drink mixes; Prime, a healthy-aging supplement line; SkinShift, a personalized skincare program; and SHOQ, an energy drink. Individual Qore products included Qore Essentials, Qore Probiotics, Qore Detox and Qore Defense. These health and performance descriptions were company marketing claims rather than findings by the FDA.
The company used a binary MLM compensation plan. Each distributor organization was divided into two volume legs, and qualified IBOs earned weekly team commissions equal to 10% of the sales volume in the lesser-volume leg. The plan also included retail profit, a Quick Start Bonus of 10% to 20% on the initial order of a personally sponsored IBO, a $40 Silver Bonus when a personally sponsored distributor reached Silver, and an Executive Matching Bonus extending through as many as seven generations. Qualification depended on remaining active and meeting personal and organizational sales-volume requirements.
Qivana did not remain an independent MLM. Zija International acquired Qivana in the spring of 2017 and began integrating its products, distributors and compensation organization into the Zija business. Zija reported that the Qivana and XanGo acquisitions helped increase its combined distributor and customer organization from approximately 55,000 people in 2015 to more than 100,000 during 2017.
On January 22, 2020, Isagenix International announced its acquisition of Zija International. Zija distributors were subsequently transferred into Isagenix, placing the former Qivana organization within Isagenix's larger health-and-wellness MLM. Qivana is no longer maintained as a separate brand, product catalog or compensation opportunity.
