Quixtar was the North American ecommerce and direct-selling brand created by Amway’s parent company, Alticor, in 1999. The brand was introduced as an internet-based version of the Amway business model, allowing customers to buy products online while Independent Business Owners used digital tools, replicated links, and ecommerce ordering to support retail sales, customer service, and recruiting. Quixtar became the primary North American Amway-related operating name during the early 2000s.
