Rain International is a Utah-based health-and-wellness direct-selling company built around seed-derived nutritional products. Rain International partnered with the earlier Rain Nutrition product company in 2010 and subsequently brought its seed-nutrition research and products into the business. The company identifies November 11, 2011, as its official founding date. Byron Belka served as founder and CEO during the company's development and global expansion. In 2020, Rain obtained an exclusive license from the University of Maryland for technology involving the use of seed flour in nutritional and functional-food products.
Rain's original flagship product was Soul, a liquid dietary supplement formulated with ingredients including black cumin seed, black raspberry seed, chardonnay grape seed and D-ribose. The current product line has expanded to include Soul Red, Core, Bend, Beat, Pure, Form, Bryt, Vida, Renu and Boost. These products cover general nutrition, antioxidant support, plant-based protein, joint health, cardiovascular wellness, digestive support, energy, cognition and weight-management categories. Rain also operates Seeds for Change, a charitable program supported by a portion of company sales.
Products are sold directly to customers and through independent distributors called Rain Partners. The company's current enrollment offerings include a $49 Associate Starter Kit, a $247 Retailer Pack, a $497 Builder Pack and a $997 Leadership Pack. Published compensation materials describe customer-order bonuses, first-order bonuses, a binary team structure, generational matching bonuses, rank-advancement awards and weekly lifestyle bonuses. One version of the plan paid 40% of a customer order's commissionable volume to the sponsoring Partner and a $30 team commission whenever 300 commissionable-volume points accumulated on both sides of the binary organization. Generational matching bonuses extended through as many as seven generations, while advertised one-time rank awards ranged from $30 at Manager to $250,000 at Triple Black Rain Diamond, subject to rank maintenance and staged-payment requirements.
To earn the highest compensation level in the Rain Nutrition compensation plan, you need to enroll at the $1000 level.
