Sevarus was an Alabama-based network-marketing company that launched in August 2011. Operating from the Mobile/Grand Bay area, the company built its business around GPS tracking technology rather than the nutritional, beauty, or household products more commonly associated with direct selling. Its principal service was marketed as SafetyNet, a GPS-based system designed to help customers locate and monitor family members, pets, vehicles, and other valuables. Contemporary direct-selling directories listed Sevarus as an MLM/home-business opportunity.
The SafetyNet system allowed customers to view the location of connected tracking devices from an internet-connected computer or smartphone. Features included route tracking, vehicle-mileage monitoring, driving-behavior information, and email or text alerts when a vehicle exceeded a specified speed or when a tracked device moved outside a designated geographic area.
Sevarus offered two primary subscription levels. The Individual Plan cost $19.95 per month and supported up to two tracking devices, while the Family Plan cost $39.95 per month and supported as many as seven devices. GPS tracking hardware was purchased separately from the monthly service. The recurring subscription model provided the consumer product around which the company built its representative opportunity.
Sevarus promoted SafetyNet through a network-marketing sales model, allowing independent representatives to market the tracking service and build a business around customer subscriptions. The surviving public record does not preserve a complete Sevarus compensation plan, however, so specific commission percentages, downline levels, rank requirements, bonuses, or representative earnings cannot be reliably documented.
The company also sought federal trademark protection for the name SAFETYTRAC. Sevarus LLC filed the application on August 23, 2011 for a GPS hardware and software system used to track people and pets. TeleTracking Technologies opposed the application, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceeding ultimately resulted in the application being abandoned after an inter partes decision on December 3, 2012. USPTO records identify Sevarus LLC at 12511 Bell Creek Drive North in Grand Bay, Alabama.
Sevarus eventually disappeared from the direct-selling market. The former sevarus.com website no longer provides an operating company site, customer subscription platform, or representative enrollment opportunity.

Enrollment is through the company's MySevarus.com domain and replicated distributor pages. Enrollment options include the Basic Package and the Premier Builders Package
The Basic Package included the distributor setup fee for the Sevarus Distributor Success System ( $9.95 ) and the Distributor Setup activation fee ( $99.95 ) for the personally branded Sevarus websites and virtual office.
The Premier Builders Package includes the same distributor setup fee of $9.95 and two setup fees of $99.95 plus the the Premier Builders Package ( $49.95 ) for a total enrollment fee of $259.80.
Compensation Plan
The foundation of the Sevarus compensation plan is "refer three and it is free." Any customer who refers three people to Sevarus receives monthly service for free. People who joined Sevarus during pre- launch earned the title of "Founder" and will receive an additional 20% income during the first year.
