Liguori entered the beauty industry at age 17 and worked for more than 40 years as a makeup artist, product educator and trainer with companies including Clinique, Estée Lauder and Aveda. She developed Simple Beauty Minerals as a smaller, independently owned beauty brand focused on personalized service, natural-looking cosmetics and products for sensitive and mature skin. The company has historically operated from San Carlos, California.

The product line includes loose and pressed mineral foundations, concealers, finishing powders, bronzers, blushes, eye shadows, eyeliners, brow products, mascara, lip products, primers and makeup brushes.
