Stanley Home Products no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.

Stanley Home Products is no longer active as an independent direct-selling company at SHPOnline.com. The Stanley Home Products brand still exists, but it now lives mainly as a product line under Fuller Brush / Galaxy Brush, sold through Fuller’s current e-commerce site and related marketplace channels.

Original Npros business profile for Stanley Home Products, preserved below for archival purposes:

Stanley Home Products was one of the pioneering American direct-selling companies. The company was founded by Frank Stanley Beveridge on August 15, 1931, in Westfield, Massachusetts, after Beveridge left Fuller Brush. Stanley began as a household-products company selling brushes, cleaners, and related home goods, and it grew into a major direct-selling business with national and international reach.

Stanley Home Products became especially important in direct-selling history because of its role in popularizing the home-party plan. Instead of relying only on door-to-door selling, Stanley dealers demonstrated products in group settings hosted in customers' homes. That method became a model for later party-plan companies, including Tupperware, Mary Kay, Avon, and Home Interiors. Brownie Wise, Mary Kay Ash, and Mary Crowley were all connected to Stanley Home Products before becoming major figures in later direct-selling businesses.

The company's product line included a broad mix of household and personal-use products, including brushes, cleaners, mops, brooms, small appliances, toiletries, beauty aids, clothing, furniture, vitamins, disinfectants, air fresheners, laundry products, polishes, and other home-care items. Later direct-selling profiles for SHPOnline.com described Stanley as offering more than 130 cleaning and house-care products and more than 80 personal-care and wellness products through its online Stanley catalog.

Stanley Home Products later became tied back to Fuller Brush. Fuller Brush's own history states that Stanley Home Products was acquired in 1996, bringing the company back together with Fuller after decades as a separate competitor. Smithsonian archival records describe the companies as sibling businesses under the same parent organization, with Stanley products sold by Fuller Brush distributors and manufactured at Fuller Brush's Great Bend, Kansas plant.

Stanley Home Products and Fuller Brush went through Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2012. After the bankruptcy, the companies merged product lines and catalogs, eliminated overlapping products, and continued under new ownership. In 2018, Galaxy Brush LLC acquired Fuller Brush and the Stanley Home Products trademarks. Today, the Stanley Home Products name remains active as a product brand, with Stanley-branded cleaning, laundry, broom, brush, skin-care, foot-care, hair-care, and related home products sold through Fuller Brush's current online store.

Stanley Home Products is no longer operating as a standalone MLM or direct-selling company through SHPOnline.com. Fuller Brush maintains a dealer application program, and Fuller's current site continues to sell Stanley-branded products, but the old SHPOnline.com-era Stanley Home Products opportunity is no longer the active public-facing business model.
