Original Npros business profile for Tampogo, preserved below for archival purposes:
TamPogo was a Tampa, Florida-based online shopping and network-marketing company launched in July 2009 under CEO Chuck Stebbins. The company was designed around the idea of combining discounted online shopping with word-of-mouth marketing, allowing consumers to purchase everyday products while independent representatives, called iReps, earned income from customer purchases and the organizations they developed. BBB records date the start of the business to July 15, 2009 and identify its headquarters at 2908 W. Cypress Street in Tampa.
TamPogo offered a broad online catalog rather than a single specialty product line. Products included nutritional supplements, skincare, clothing, jewelry, watches, toys, household merchandise, and weight-management products. Two prominent lines were Pure Chemistry, which focused on health and nutritional products, and Botanical Buffet, a skincare and personal-care line. The company also incorporated a charitable component into its business, directing a portion of qualifying product sales toward feeding children in need. During its first year, TamPogo reported providing nearly three-quarters of a million meals through the program.
Joining TamPogo as an iRep did not require a signup or website fee. Representatives could earn money by referring retail customers to personalized TamPogo shopping sites and by sponsoring additional iReps. To remain qualified for compensation, an iRep generally purchased at least one designated Fast Track product each month, typically priced between $20 and $30. The compensation structure included commissions from customer purchases, team activity, and profit-sharing components tied to sales generated through the organization.
The company recruited experienced network marketer Isaac McLemore as its Master iRep. McLemore had previously worked with companies including Metabolife, Matol, Herbalife, Essante, and BodyWise. TamPogo promoted his experience building large distributor organizations as an important part of its field-development strategy. Chuck Stebbins led the corporate operation as CEO, while Sadie Turner oversaw product purchasing and later served as manager of TamPogo Exchange, LLC.
TamPogo's active direct-selling period was relatively short. TamPogo Exchange, LLC, operating from the same 2908 W. Cypress Street address, was formed in Florida in October 2010 with Sadie Turner as manager and was administratively dissolved on September 23, 2011 after failing to file an annual report. The former tampogo.com website no longer operates as a shopping marketplace or representative enrollment platform and now resolves to a parked domain page stating that the domain may be for sale.
TamPogo is designed to generate income for you in two ways. You may become an iRep for FREE and sign up Direct Customers to buy products from your personalized TamPogo website. Second, you sign up other iReps on your team.
