Teaporia is no longer active as a direct-selling company or business opportunity. The Florida corporation behind the business was dissolved in 2012, and teaporia.com is now parked for sale.

Teaporia was a Florida-based tea and gourmet-food direct seller that began operating around 2006. The company sold loose-leaf teas, tea accessories, children's tea sets, baking mixes, scone and dessert mixes, and related specialty foods, and also offered custom tea blending. Teaporia Inc. was incorporated in Florida on November 26, 2007, with its headquarters in Oviedo. Kathie Anderson served as president and director, while Robert Anderson served as vice president, treasurer, and director.

Teaporia sold through independent consultants as well as directly to consumers. Consultants could host tea parties, sell products personally, and recruit other consultants into their organizations. There was no required startup fee. Consultants earned 25% on personal sales and 10% on sales generated by their downline, making Teaporia a multilevel direct-selling program rather than simply a retail affiliate opportunity. Consultants were required to generate at least one purchase during each three-month period to remain active.

The compensation program also included a $25 bonus when a consultant or someone in the consultant's downline generated $500 in sales during a single month. New consultants could receive a one-time 40% discount on an initial order of $100 or more, allowing them to purchase samples and demonstration products at a reduced cost. Teaporia emphasized flexibility and home-based selling and supported consultants with online training and communication resources.

Teaporia remained active into the early 2010s but ultimately ceased operations. The company filed its last Florida annual report in 2011 and was administratively dissolved on September 28, 2012 for failing to file an annual report. The former teaporia.com/shop address no longer operates as a tea store or consultant enrollment site and redirects to a domain-sale page.
