Unicity uses a multilevel direct-selling model built around customers, members, and independent distributors. Members receive discounted product pricing and product credits, while distributors receive wholesale pricing and may earn commissions from product purchases made by customers and members in their sales organizations. Distributors can sponsor other distributors, build downline organizations, qualify for ranks, and receive commissions, bonuses, incentives, trips, and other awards under the compensation plan. Current U.S. policies state that no product purchase is required to enroll as a distributor, although distributors must meet personal-volume and other compensation-plan requirements to qualify for awards.

Unicity's 2024 U.S. and Canadian income statistics state that approximately 90% of monthly product purchasers were customers who did not participate in the compensation opportunity. The company reported that roughly one out of every 13 customers chose to build a Unicity business. Its earnings tables cover gross commissions, bonuses, and incentives before expenses for distributors who met the applicable activity requirements for at least six months during 2024. Unicity cautioned that results vary significantly and that earnings are not guaranteed.

Unicity remains active, with current product ordering, member and distributor enrollment, updated policies, distributor-management tools, and operations across the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. The company's current leadership identifies Stewart Hughes as chairman and chief executive officer and Daniel Hughes as president and chief operating officer.
