The Wholefood Farmacy opened in March 2003 in Rogersville, Tennessee, as a whole-food nutrition and direct-selling business. It operated through Think Again, Inc. under the names Great American and The Wholefood Farmacy. Don Tolman and Mark Bowen were instrumental in establishing the company, and its stated mission was to provide convenient whole-food-based meals and snacks, non-toxic personal-care products and education focused on preventive health.

The company sold concentrated fruit- and plant-based foods, nutritional snacks and related wellness products. Historical products included Phi, Phi Plus, Apple Cinnamon Phi and Fruitalicious. The Wholefood Farmacy used independent distributors and personalized websites to market the products, distribute wellness education and refer customers back to the company's ordering system. Its Referral Rewards Program compensated participants for referring customers and activating company-provided websites, although a complete verified historical compensation schedule is no longer publicly available.

The company became involved in litigation with Whole Living, Inc., doing business as The Brain Garden, after Tolman left that company. Whole Living alleged that Tolman, Bowen and Think Again used its product formulas, promotional materials, sales aids and distributor information in violation of contractual restrictions and a federal preliminary injunction. On November 29, 2004, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah found Tolman, Bowen and Great American in contempt, describing their violations as persistent, pervasive and willful. The court awarded $240,430.91 in preliminary damages, plus attorneys' fees and costs.

Think Again filed for bankruptcy protection in December 2004. Whole Living later reported receiving approximately $237,196 through the bankruptcy settlement in March 2007.
