WorldVentures was a Plano, Texas-based travel and lifestyle direct-selling company founded in 2005. The company marketed DreamTrips travel-club memberships, offering members access to curated group vacations, travel deals, lifestyle experiences, and related travel services. Its model combined a consumer travel membership with a network-marketing-style sales opportunity built around independent representatives who sold memberships and recruited additional representatives.

The company’s best-known product was DreamTrips, a members-only travel club built around group travel experiences, vacation packages, hotel savings, lifestyle offers, and travel-related member benefits. WorldVentures promoted the business with the slogan “You Should Be Here” and built a large international sales organization before its bankruptcy. Its compensation structure rewarded representatives for membership sales, team-building, rank advancement, and related incentive programs.

WorldVentures is no longer active as the original standalone company. Its parent company, Spherature Investments LLC, and affiliated debtors including WorldVentures Marketing LLC and Rovia LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on December 21, 2020, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The company’s reorganization plan became effective on November 12, 2021, following a sale/restructuring process involving Verona International Holdings. At the time, WorldVentures announced an agreement valued at more than $82.5 million that included provisions for repayment of pre-bankruptcy sales representative commissions.
