SEOUL, South Korea - October 29, 2026

Amorepacific Corp., South Korea's leading cosmetics company, said Thursday that its third-quarter operating profit rose 25.4 percent from a year earlier to 115.2 billion won, as stronger brands at home and fast growth in the Americas, Japan and India lifted results.

Revenue for the three months ended September 30 climbed 11.1 percent to 1.1295 trillion won, according to preliminary figures the company disclosed on October 29. The operating profit result was essentially in line with the market consensus of about 114.9 billion won, and the company's operating margin stayed above 10 percent for the third straight quarter.

Net profit moved the other way. Amorepacific said quarterly net income fell 14.3 percent to 58.5 billion won from 68.2 billion won a year earlier, which it attributed to non-operating costs. The company did not immediately provide details on those costs. For the first nine months of 2026, net income rose 17.8 percent to 264.84 billion won.

At the group level, Amorepacific Group reported consolidated third-quarter revenue of 1.2073 trillion won, up 8.9 percent, and operating profit of 130.1 billion won, up 24.7 percent. The group's operating margin improved 1.4 percentage points to 10.8 percent, and the company said group sales have now grown for nine consecutive quarters.

The domestic business led the improvement. Amorepacific's Korean revenue rose 11 percent to 620.5 billion won, while domestic operating profit jumped 42 percent to 84.6 billion won. The company credited strong sales of Sulwhasoo, Hera, Aestura and Illiyoon, along with double-digit growth in e-commerce, multi-brand shops and duty-free stores, the last helped by more tourists visiting Korea.

Overseas revenue increased 12 percent to 495.5 billion won, and overseas operating profit rose 14 percent to 48.5 billion won. In the Americas, Aestura more than doubled its sales on expanded distribution through Sephora and Amazon, and Innisfree grew more than 50 percent. In Japan, Aestura and COSRX each more than doubled sales, Hera grew more than 90 percent, and COSRX entered about 2,900 new local stores. Sales in India rose more than 60 percent on growth from Laneige, the arrival of Mamonde and a wider distribution network. In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, COSRX sales rose more than 30 percent and its U.K. TikTok Shop sales jumped more than 200 percent.

Not every part of the group grew. Combined sales at the beauty affiliates Innisfree, Etude, espoir and Amos Professional fell 12 percent to 103.2 billion won, and their operating profit dropped 29 percent to 5.2 billion won. The company tied that decline to ongoing restructuring, including streamlining of distribution channels.

Amorepacific said it plans to keep growing multiple brands together in overseas markets. The company reiterated its long-term goal of reaching 15 trillion won in annual sales by 2035, nearly triple the 4.25 trillion won it recorded in 2025, with a focus on North America, Europe, China, India and the Middle East, and Japan and Southeast Asia, and on expanding derma beauty, clinical skincare and hair care.

Amorepacific shares closed at 124,400 won on October 29, down 0.08 percent from the previous session.
