Tupperware
May 9, 2025
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on May 9, 2025, confirmed the joint Chapter 11 plan of liquidation for Tupperware Brands Corporation and its affiliated debtors in Case No. 24-12156, and approved the related disclosure statement on a final basis.
Under the plan, holders of credit agreement claims totaling 732.03 million dollars will receive their pro rata share of distributable proceeds. General unsecured creditors will share in recoveries through a liquidating trust, and existing equity interests in Tupperware Brands will be cancelled with no distribution to shareholders.
Tupperware filed for Chapter 11 protection in September 2024 and in November 2024 sold its brand and core operations to Party Products LLC, a group formed by its secured lenders, which continues to operate the Tupperware business in selected markets. The confirmed plan winds down the remaining estate of the former public company.
