GUADALAJARA, Mexico -- June 2, 2026
Betterware de Mexico said it has completed its acquisition of Tupperware's Latin American operating assets, primarily in Mexico and Brazil, together with a perpetual, royalty-free exclusive license to the Tupperware brand in Latin America.
Total consideration was 250 million dollars on a debt-free, excess-cash-free basis, including 215 million dollars of debt-funded cash and 35 million dollars of newly issued Betterware shares. Closing followed Mexican antitrust clearance, Betterware shareholder approval and other conditions. Betterware said the acquired business had about 270 million dollars of 2025 revenue and will operate as an independent unit alongside Betterware and Jafra.
The deal was announced January 19, 2026. Betterware said Argentina brand licenses take effect in September 2026 and that the platform includes more than 140 distributors and over 200,000 independent sales representatives.
