Coway said first-quarter 2022 revenue was 928.0 billion won, up 5.6 percent from a year earlier. Operating profit was 172.7 billion won, up 1.1 percent, and net profit was 135.0 billion won, up 7.3 percent.
Domestic environmental home-appliance revenue was 559.5 billion won with 6.56 million accounts in Korea. Overseas subsidiary revenue rose 13.0 percent to 332.4 billion won, including Malaysia revenue of 262.8 billion won and U.S. revenue of 45.8 billion won. Coway said it added 810,000 new accounts in the quarter and ended with 9.28 million total accounts.
