Coway Co., Ltd. reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of 1.4261 trillion won on November 6, up 13.7 percent from a year earlier, and said operating profit rose 7.3 percent to a record 260.8 billion won as overseas subsidiaries and new product categories kept growth going at home and abroad.
"On top of strong demand for our environmental home appliances, the robust sales of our new product categories have enabled us to maintain a stable growth trajectory in both domestic and overseas markets," said Soontae Kim, chief financial officer. "By leveraging the ongoing net growth of our domestic rental accounts as well as the rapid progress of our overseas subsidiaries, we are set to secure both the top-line expansion and the overall profitability that will serve as the foundation for solidifying our mid-to-long-term growth."
Net profit for the quarter fell 36.6 percent to 111.5 billion won, with the decline tied mainly to foreign-exchange losses even as operating results strengthened.
In Korea, Coway said third-quarter revenue was 754.9 billion won, up 2.0 percent. Seasonal promotions supported sales of ice water purifiers, beds, and massage chairs, while new rental sales volume rose 7.3 percent and net rental account additions jumped 26.7 percent to 214,000. New summertime appliances, including food waste disposers and wall-mounted air conditioners, also helped the domestic result.
Overseas subsidiaries generated 591.8 billion won in revenue, up 26.2 percent. Malaysia remained the largest foreign unit at 428.0 billion won, up 21.5 percent. The United States subsidiary rose 45.8 percent to 83.9 billion won, Thailand rose 38.0 percent to 57.7 billion won, and Indonesia rose 21.8 percent to 16.0 billion won.
Coway, listed in Korea, sells water and air purifiers, bidets, and related home appliances through a rental and membership model and has been expanding its BEREX sleep and wellness line of mattresses and massage chairs across Malaysia, the United States, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Europe.
