Coway said second-quarter 2022 revenue was 978.2 billion won, up 8.0 percent from a year earlier. Operating profit rose 5.7 percent to 176.0 billion won and net profit rose 14.4 percent to 132.5 billion won. First-half cumulative revenue reached 1,906.2 billion won, with operating profit of 348.7 billion won and net profit of 267.5 billion won.
The company pointed to steady demand for water-purifier and air-care rental products in Korea and continued overseas expansion. Coway sells and rents environmental home appliances through a mix of door-to-door consultants and other channels. Management said it would keep investing in product innovation and service networks while managing cost inflation.
