LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- March 26, 2026

Herbalife said it has agreed to acquire certain assets of Bioniq, a U.K.-based personalized supplements company founded in 2019 by Vadim Fedotov, as it works to become a technology-enabled, data-driven health and wellness platform.

The 55 million dollar purchase price will be paid over five years, including 10 million dollars at closing, and the transaction value includes up to 95 million dollars in additional contingent payments based on future performance. Herbalife also obtained a call option to acquire Bioniq LAB, a separate platform focused on small molecules and peptides. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, and Bioniq products are expected to be offered through Herbalife distributors in select European countries and the United States later in the year.

Bioniq will complement Herbalife's earlier acquisitions of Pro2col and Link BioSciences. Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, a longtime Herbalife partner, is a Bioniq shareholder. "The future of health and wellness is becoming more personalized and informed by data," said Chief Executive Stephan Gratziani.
