The board of Herbalife Nutrition Ltd. formed an environmental, social, and governance committee, citing the weight it places on sustainable, socially responsible, and ethical practices.
The company said topics tied to communities and shared well-being fit a mission it has described for 40 years as nutrition products and a community that encourages a more active life.
Chairman and chief executive John Agwunobi said the committee reaffirms a commitment to improve communities and to act as a global corporate citizen. Board member Michael Montelongo will chair the committee. Montelongo said he looks forward to working with management and that the committee will oversee strategy and management of environmental, social, and governance matters.
