Herbalife Nutrition said John DeSimone would become Executive Vice Chairman in a part-time, non-executive role focused on transformative growth initiatives, succeeding his prior role as president, with the change effective July 29, 2022. The company said DeSimone's experience would support long-term growth work outside day-to-day operations.

Herbalife also created three regional president roles: Stephen Conchie for Asia Pacific and China, Edi Hienrich for EMEA and India, and Frank Lamberti for the Americas. Chairman and chief executive John Agwunobi said the promotions were intended to strengthen regional support for independent distributors.

The leadership changes were announced alongside second-quarter results in which net sales fell 10.3 percent to 1.4 billion dollars while exceeding the company's prior guidance ranges.
