The board of Herbalife Nutrition Ltd. named Bosco Chiu the company's first chief risk officer. Chiu had been executive vice president and chief financial officer. He has been with the company 27 years in accounting and finance roles, and before that was an auditor at Price Waterhouse.
Chairman and chief executive John Agwunobi said the new office is meant to strengthen risk management, controls, and compliance, and that Chiu will lead enterprise risk management, internal controls, ethics, and compliance across business units.
Alex Amezquita was promoted to chief financial officer. He joined in 2017 and had overseen global corporate strategy, financial planning and analysis, pricing, and investor relations. He is now responsible for corporate financial functions. Chiu and Amezquita will both report to Agwunobi and remain on the executive committee.
