Herbalife Ltd. announced senior leadership changes effective July 1, 2023 as part of its succession management process. Mark Schissel will retire as chief operating officer after 16 years and move into a strategic advisory role. Frank Lamberti, previously regional president of the Americas, will become chief operating officer overseeing product innovation and supply chain, digital content and infrastructure, distributor and sales analytics, and back-office operations.
Ibi Montesino's role as executive vice president and chief of staff expands to cover global distributor-facing sales, marketing and operations as well as employee management. Rob Levy, executive vice president of worldwide distributor affairs, becomes regional president of the Americas, covering North America, South and Central America, Mexico and Brazil. All three will report to chairman and chief executive Michael Johnson.
Johnson said Schissel's contributions helped build the company and that he has complete trust in Lamberti, Montesino and Levy. The announcement coincided with the company's first-quarter 2023 earnings release.
