Herbalife Nutrition Ltd. said shareholders at its April 26, 2023 annual general meeting approved a special resolution changing the company's name to Herbalife Ltd. The company stated that it officially adopted the new name on that date while continuing to trade under the HLF ticker.
The change dropped "Nutrition" from the corporate name as the company pursued refreshed branding and product-expansion plans discussed with distributor leaders earlier in 2023. Voting totals disclosed in subsequent filings showed more than 83.7 million shares for the resolution, with fewer than 200,000 against and about 37,500 abstentions.
Herbalife is a Cayman Islands incorporated multilevel marketer of nutrition products sold through independent distributors in more than 90 markets; the Npros directory lists the company as Herbalife International.
