Nature's Sunshine Products reported third-quarter 2024 net sales of 114.6 million dollars, up 3 percent from 111.2 million dollars a year earlier, or 4 percent in constant currency. GAAP net income attributable to common shareholders rose to 4.3 million dollars, or 0.23 dollars per diluted share, from 2.8 million dollars, or 0.15 dollars, and adjusted EBITDA increased 5 percent to 10.7 million dollars.
Chief Executive Terrence Moorehead said the quarter delivered the year's highest sales volume, led by customer growth in Japan and Taiwan, progress in Korea and strong execution in Central Europe, partly offset by China macroeconomic headwinds. Asia sales rose 5.9 percent to 55.3 million dollars, or 8.6 percent excluding currency.
Given Asia softness, the company raised full-year 2024 net sales guidance to 443 million to 448 million dollars from 436 million to 445 million dollars and adjusted EBITDA guidance to 40 million to 42 million dollars from 39 million to 42 million dollars. It ended the quarter with 78.7 million dollars in cash and no debt.
