Nature's Sunshine Products reported fourth-quarter 2022 net sales of 102.7 million dollars, down 12.9 percent from 117.9 million dollars a year earlier, or 6.4 percent in constant currency. GAAP net income was 2.1 million dollars, or 0.10 dollars per diluted share, and adjusted EBITDA was 8.0 million dollars compared with 11.6 million dollars.
Full-year net sales were 421.9 million dollars, down 5.0 percent reported but up 0.2 percent in constant currency. Full-year GAAP net income was 0.6 million dollars, with adjusted EBITDA of 32.0 million dollars versus 49.4 million dollars in 2021. Asia sales rose 5.3 percent for the year. Cash was 60.0 million dollars at year-end after 13.6 million dollars of share repurchases.
Chief executive Terrence Moorehead said fundamentals held despite external headwinds and that 2023 priorities include digital, field activation, manufacturing efficiency and brand-building investments.
