Nature's Sunshine Products reported second-quarter 2023 net sales of 116.5 million dollars, up 12 percent from 104.2 million dollars a year earlier, or 14 percent in constant currency. GAAP net income attributable to common shareholders was 2.4 million dollars, or 0.12 dollars per diluted share, versus 0.5 million dollars a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose 26 percent to 11.3 million dollars.
Asia net sales rose 16 percent to 54.9 million dollars and Europe rose 24 percent to 21.2 million dollars, while North America rose 2 percent to 34.7 million dollars. Cash was 69.0 million dollars and debt was about 0.5 million dollars. The company guided full-year 2023 net sales of 440 million to 455 million dollars and adjusted EBITDA of 34 million to 38 million dollars.
Chief executive Terrence Moorehead said Asia/Pacific strength, Central and Eastern Europe stabilization and a return to North America growth supported the second-best sales quarter in company history.
