Nature's Sunshine Products reported third-quarter 2022 net sales of 104.5 million dollars, down 8.9 percent from 114.7 million dollars a year earlier and down 2.3 percent in constant currency. Net income was 0.2 million dollars, or 0.00 dollars per diluted share, compared with 5.5 million dollars, or 0.24 dollars. Adjusted EBITDA fell to 6.8 million dollars from 12.9 million dollars, and gross margin declined to 71.6 percent from 74.4 percent.
Asia sales were 47.9 million dollars, while North America sales fell 16.5 percent to 31.5 million dollars. Chief executive Terrence Moorehead said the company has committed to 10 million to 12 million dollars of cost savings over the next 18 months to offset inflation and currency pressure.
