Tupperware Brands said it signed a definitive agreement to sell the House of Fuller beauty business in Mexico. The company called the deal part of a turnaround plan to shed assets that are not core and to put resources behind the Tupperware brand.

President and chief executive Miguel Fernandez said the sale was further progress on that divestiture goal. Price, buyer, and expected closing date were not disclosed.

The Mexico transaction follows the sale of the Avroy Shlain beauty business in South Africa earlier in 2021. Tupperware said it would keep executing the turnaround in order to return the brand to sustained growth.
