Tupperware
June 7, 2022
Tupperware Brands said it entered a definitive agreement to sell its Nutrimetics beauty business, which operates in Australia, New Zealand, and France. Terms and the anticipated closing date were not disclosed. The company said the sale advances its turnaround plan of divesting non-core assets after earlier sales of Avroy Shlain in South Africa and House of Fuller in Mexico.
President and chief executive Miguel Fernandez said the company remains focused on growing the core Tupperware brand and restoring sustained growth. The Nutrimetics sale follows the company's stated strategy to concentrate on its iconic household brand while exiting non-core beauty units.
