ORLANDO, Fla., October 17, 2023 --

Tupperware Brands Corporation named Laurie Ann Goldman president, chief executive officer and a director, effective immediately, to lead its turnaround. She replaces Miguel Fernandez, who also left the board.

Goldman previously served as CEO of Avon North America from August 2018 to August 2019 and as CEO of Spanx from 2002 to 2014, and most recently led OVME Aesthetics. Board Chair Susan Cameron said Goldman's record of motivating global sales teams and her operational and financial skills would help accelerate the company's turnaround plan.

The company also added three directors: former Rodan + Fields chief executive Lori Bush, former Energy Future Holdings CEO Paul Keglevic and Transier Advisors CEO William Transier. Directors Mark Burgess, Meg Crofton, Deborah Ellinger and James Fordyce stepped down, and with the previously disclosed departure of Richard Goudis the board was reduced to 11 members, 10 of them independent.

Tupperware said it filed its 2022 annual report on Form 10-K on October 13, 2023 and would file its quarterly reports for the first three quarters of 2023 as promptly as possible.
