Tupperware Brands said it appointed Mariela Matute as chief financial officer effective May 24, 2022. Matute joined from Calavo Growers, where she served as chief financial officer and helped drive a turnaround at the fresh-foods company.
The company said Matute has more than 20 years of finance experience spanning technology, consumer, and manufacturing sectors and has overseen global finance teams across multiple continents. The appointment was announced with Tupperware's first-quarter 2022 results as the company worked through its turnaround plan.
