Zyia Active, the Utah-based activewear direct sales company, has acquired Essential Bodywear, an intimate apparel company with a 22-year history of designing bras and undergarments. Terms were not disclosed.
Zyia said the deal expands its product offering and brings Essential Bodywear's customers and representatives into the Zyia business. "For over two decades, Essential Bodywear has set a remarkable standard in bra design, blending support, comfort, and craftsmanship," said Erin Bradley, founder and CEO of Zyia Active.
Zyia described itself as a privately held, debt-free company and said that position allows it to make strategic investments while other companies scale back or move to other channels.
Founded in 2017, Zyia Active sells activewear, wellness and personal care products through Independent Representatives in North America and Australia. Its founders include Erin Bradley, chairman Jeremiah Bradley, designer Brenda Bradley and president Zach Bradley.
