Global Verge Scam

Most of the controversy regarding GV and consumer reports of the Global Verge Scam are related to the company launch and the association with Buzzirk Mobile and the promised VoIP product.

The Zer01 service was promised to the Global Verge distributors, but after months the product was still vapor. PCWorld and IDG News Service wrote several articles questioning whether the mobile voice and data service that Zer01 advertised could actually be delivered as described.

Executives offered several reasons, sometimes conflicting, as to why the service had yet to launch. Zer01 eventually severed the business relationship with Buzzirk.
