LeReve is an Australian direct-selling company that markets fragrance, aromatherapy, skin care, and home-fragrance products. It was founded in Sydney in 1988 by Phil Hobby and Jenny Hobby, who named the company LeReve, French for "The Dream." The company began by selling 16 concentrated parfums through home parties and has since expanded into pure essential oils, aromatherapy products, plant-derived skin care, candles, and reed diffusers. LeReve is a privately owned family business headquartered in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, and operates in Australia and New Zealand. Phil Hobby serves as CEO and has served 13 years on the board of Direct Selling Australia, including four years as chair, receiving life membership in the association in 2024. LeReve sells through independent representatives called Consultants, who market products at in-home and livestream "Experiences," on social media, and through personal e-commerce websites, with online customer reorders credited to the Consultant. New Consultants join by purchasing a Starter Pack, priced at $99 AUD for the Essentials Pack or $299 AUD for the Deluxe Pack. Consultants earn a 20% instant sales profit on personal sales, and according to the company, starting-level Consultants can earn up to 40% in combined sales profit and bonuses on personal sales, including free-product bonuses. Additional team-building bonuses are paid to Consultants who sponsor others, and earlier company materials referred to royalties and car payments under the LeReve Reward Plan. Consultants may also qualify for gift incentives, achiever dinners and events, and an annual travel incentive. Customers who register as VIP Customers earn 10% credit back on purchases.
